I was teasing, but it’s an interesting topic. As well as jazz I also love country music. When I come across country haters, I just think ‘yeah, fine, it’s not for everyone’, but with jazz I do feel a kind of instinctive horror at people not liking it. Not sure why that is.

Growing up as a kid, I listened to a lot of jazz, and I still remember the first time I heard someone say ‘jazz is bad’ just being completely gobsmacked.
