Fastin’ before a test depends on the test Often random collection (as in stuff like no fastin’) gives perfectly fine results No eatin’ instructs would be given for more of a confirmation test instead of a routine and/or screenin’ test since it requires more work from the patient

And if you not fastin’ before the blood work can explain why the results are like how they are, then there’s no need to get blood work from you fastin’ because the results are explained - though the clinician can still order it with fastin’ instructions if they feel it’s necessary
