I have now seen multiple people saying “it’s just for the protests”. Okay so let’s say that’s where it ends, that will exclude people who need to take covid precautions from protesting which is not good. But also, who decides what is defined as a protest? 1/2

Because banning face coverings for protests is definitely not a slippery slope to fascism... "It's just for the protest"?! Honestly, do people hear themselves?

And you don’t think that disdain won’t shift to non protesting mask wearers? Especially from cops who are going to mask wearing as “bad” even more than they already do? They will not stop to ask if you’re high risk because they do not care. And you shouldn’t have to prove that anyway. 2/2
