I never thought about it, it was just kinda there: Twitter, as a fairly dependable source of breaking real-time news. Was thinking how Bluesky is not there yet, wishing it was, and realizing all over again that this is *exactly* why Elon broke the motherfucker. We could use it, but ain't have it.

I worry that would attract exactly what we don't have (as much) here. Disinformation bots and insane levels of constant arguing. I guess it wouldn't be as bad since we determine the algorithm. IDK maybe I don't think I want to know the world is ending anymore in real-time.
