I am not interested in empty nihilism that excuses people from action. "It's all fucked and always has been, there's nothing we can do," is lazy chicken shit. That is different from, "We're fucked if a few million more of you don't get in the fucking game, now and like your life depends on it."

People's optimism bias genuinely drove me to questioning my fucking sanity, and I'm not doing that shit again. They can fuck off. A bunch of us were right, and we were accurately assessing the fact and lack of urgency was part of that assessment. Those ppl can fuck right off.
