"Drs have been working to remove race from a slew of other clinical calculations. Algorithms used for determining heart disease, kidney disease, cognitive testing, diabetes & cancer screening all used race". An aim of PSA UPSS Phil Sci Race Prize is to encourage more #HPS work in this critical area.

On the one hand, that’s odd, because Jefferson lived before the freeway system decided which neighborhoods got asthma. On the other hand, in his day there were already racial differences regarding whose job was dirtier and whose house was downwind.
