The accommodation supplement doesn't make them higher - greedy landlords do. Why don't we ban increasing rents just because the supplement increases? #NZPol

Anecdata: SibL's previous landlord would put rent up and say 'WINZ will pay it"... except SibL was at the highest supplement already. Like, two rises back. No maintenance. Mould. Vermin. Flooding. Minimal insulation. Not healthy homes compliant.
