Wait, I thought it seemed familiar! I actually did read this when it first published @nytimes.com. I even posted it here on Day Of. But it just turned up again in another sm Channel earlier today, where I RE-read it—and prolly bc we’re all Frazzled about the High Stakes at hand rn, I forgot! 🤣
