According to the Supreme Court, Trump is essentially immune to legal consequences. If he got caught with contraband pornography, he would claim “executive privilege” and the Leonard Leo judges would agree with that

And I’m not defending Trump in any way, just that this would be far from the first time he’s bucked the think tank crowd. He wants to be dictator and have the power to kill anyone who gets in his way. I can see him raging out if he thinks someone else is trying to set/take credit for his agenda.

I mean that Trump’s brand is hedonistic excess. He’s in hoc to the fundies, but his base extends way beyond that.
