Absolutely. Also it is a crippling deficit in taste as well. Have you read Ayn Rand? The girl CAN’T write. It’s worse than shit. Rand makes that chick who wrote twilight look like Jane Austen.

I mean... I actually LOVED her books when I was a teenager in the 90s when I thought edge lords were hot. But you have to read them as pure SFF, not... an actual guide on how to live or be.
