Janeway. I grew up on TNG, TOS,& VOY, but the strong women characters on Voyager changed my life as a kid. I don’t know if I’d be in Congress if that show wasn’t on TV. My dad was a huge Star Trek/Roddenberry fan & always talked about its social & political history. I could go on forever about ST 🪐

i always liked the IDEA of Janeway more than the REALITY of Janeway. Kate Mulgrew killed it though.

I got interested in Star Trek w/ DS9 w/ its prolonged plot arc, Sysco just being awesome, but mostly for Dax & Kira. Then got into the episodic plot of Voyager since I loved Kate Mulgrew as Janeway. The women of Star Trek seem so interesting and powerful as life influences for people as we grow up.
