So it looks like I may dip into stress baking between now and next January. Any tips or tricks for not eating it all?

Determine which community you or your family/associates currently belong to that may be gifted baked goods. Some larger groups might require gifts to be scheduled in advance, or increased in count, but being able to give your creations to somebody is salvation for a baker's waistline.
