A miracle has happened here. (Or is it Bidenomics has left people too poor to afford either fireworks or ammunition?) It's 20 minutes after midnight and there have been no fireworks or gunfire going off in my neighborhood for the last 30 minutes. First year ever this has happened.

You must live in an alternate universe, my friend. Cool. 11 and things are just starting to lighten up here but apparently there’s some rule that assholes can come to beach towns and shoot off fireworks for a full month so I’ll check back with you on August 1 😂

Lots here, but there were a lot last year, too. It’s a working class Hispanic neighborhood. Music and parties on the weekend, too. The only problem with the fireworks is that it scares our poor dog.
