Not saying that you did. Only pointing out the logical conclusion of supporting taking aggressive, conclusive action in the absence of any kind of legal proceeding, let alone a basic investigation of the allegations.

If a man (or anyone, really, but let’s face it, the issue is pretty gendered) cannot be trusted not to abuse his position of power, and if that fact is apparent to outsiders, then removing him from that position of power is the only morally defensible conclusion.
