Earth is home to us all. The carbon emissions of the Global North are responsible for the rising waters & temperatures that will force many in the Global South to relocate. Economic, military & environmental devastation from imperialism and neocolonialism are already doing this.

If and when island nations need to flee their homelands, it is our responsibility to receive them with humanity and honor their rights to national self-determination. Our current system of militarized borders and nation-states is incompatible with the task at hand.
