The election matters to factions of the capitalist class with interests in certain sectors of the economy being favored with regard to subsidies, government contracts and taxation schemes. If you’re not a capitalist, the election decides only the color of your oppressor’s jersey.

US electoral politics is an intra-capitalist class “conflict” that will crumble as soon as a more united front is needed to defend the system they all benefit from, revealing the true nature of our government: the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.
