It's not doomerism to note that things will get worse, but it doesn't HAVE to end in the worst possible outcome. However to stop that from happening, we will need to take a lot of action, and we cannot put faith in the people in charge right now bc they've consistently made it this way.

We cannot "trust the process", saying the arc of justice is long but not putting in the work, we cannot believe in the authorities self preservation instincts either (see: COVID). They'll drive this planet sized bus off the cliff with us in it.
