During my bout with cancer, a walker was critical. My leg strength had vanished under the week long chemo sessions and while I might have the strength to get across a room on my own, it wasn't enough to stay standing for long after. Mobility aids are great.

True know people who have difficulties walking but pride in way of using wheelie walker. Have been using for 25 years as mobility decreased. Also love my trekking poles Japanese style shorter steps arms right angle takes pressure off knees & hips. Able to go on rough ground & up kerbs easily.
