There were people who believed Jesus risen before Paul converted so someone besides Paul probably also had something of a vision experience. My main point is that belief in an inerrant scripture should not be the basis that many Christians treat it as.

I agree with your main point. I also agree that there were people before Paul who believed that, though we haven’t one word from any of them describing the basis of their belief.
