Jared Golden's spinelessness and stupidity ended up getting his own constituents in Lewiston killed by not supporting gun control until it was too late. He uses Jan 6th as proof that we can save democracy because we put down the last coup instead of seeing it as the obvious warning sign it was.

I'll admit I used to be of the camp "Better a conservative dem in the second district than a republican" but I was wrong. If a republican said this, no one would care but as with a (D) after his name, this dangerous lie will get spread and drive Trump votes.
