Indeed, and we're in an estuary so the idea is to look at the role of things like salinity, sediment, water Q on the lake's populations/behaviors. We're just now in the instrumentation phase. Should be deploying the real-time satellite/cellular sensors by August!

So awesome, I attended a few conferences/workshops in the past few months focusing on acoustics, and I think that freshwater/estuarian acoustic monitoring is the new hot topic. I’m hoping that we will get more and more publicly available resources for fish acoustic ID, etc. soon as a result!
