Paintings by American artist Emily Mason, 1970s, who worked spontaneously in a process she described as "letting the paint talk to you." Her mother Alice Trumbull Mason was a founding member of the NYC American Abstract Artists group, so she was surrounded and inspired by great painters growing up.
