Scraper accounts steal other photogs/artists work and post it - 99% without giving any credit to the artist. So I block 'em all. They grow the accounts either just because or worse they ask for tips (for other's work!) or worst then sell the accounts with tons of followers to even sketchier folks

scraping is a term for, like, automated downloading of an entire account or website’s data. they take everyone’s pictures and repost them here or elsewhere, all the while while shilling shitty merch with the stolen art or scamming people by pretending to be the real artists.
