AI the tool has technical issues and application avoidances that o find fascinating( AI’s regulatory possibilities are myriad but never proposed )
But AI the philosophy is what terrifies me
It seeks truth without provenance and creativity with no viewpoint
My questions about AI are always in accountability. I work in translations, and AI is a big topic for the industry right now, but my question always is “if ai mistranslates someone’s message such that they lose their legal case, who is responsible? How will we ensure it never happens again?”
Regulatory possibilities never proposed because its real draw is “make us a bunch of money without us having to do any work,” and those people don’t like laws that limit their predation.
i can't guess at "AI-The Philosophy" beyond scooby doo-masked anarchocapitalism, "dark enlightenment" fascists and a strong undercurrent of incel reactionary anti-creative spark
