Nice deflection. People calling for the most successful president to step down because of one debate are going to give us Trump. It was the same short sided thinking that said it was smart to vote 3rd party in 2016. Same people. Let’s not listen to them.

We're calling for him to step down because he's on death's door, he's a frail old man who isn't going to be fit enough to fight another election campaign, let alone govern for 4 more years. And voting 3rd party is a perfectly legitimate thing to do in a multi-party democracy, get a better candidate
