That's true, but AI dramatically magnifies the extent of the problem, making it a significantly larger, more complex problem much faster, and with broad exposure potential before it's found out.

All potentially true. But if we as a community want to solve this very real problem, we should focus on the root problem: the existence of a long standing, well developed, and well resourced network of predatory journals.
