This. Look, I've been happy being boring from other people's perspectives since I was a kid. I love my earth tones, I enjoy time in my garden and reading. Accepting that some people get joy wearing bright colors and having boisterous exteriors doesn't mean we have to demonize people who don't.

today, aesthetic is more important than substance. i love that the term dead inside is used here because thats what I see when Im out in public - marketable shells without substance or thought
