So, I managed to entirely avoid absorbing that AVGN even existed, despite engaging in the culture 20 years ago of white guys complaining about video games with absurd, hyperviolence a lá Penny Arcade, Ctrl+Alt+Del, PvP, etc. That being said, I enjoyed the emulation of him in the analysis/critique 1/

And it really did give me insight into why his fans have turned on him/his wife, and how absurd all that is given your conclusion (which is definitely justified by your presentation) that he hasn't really changed at all. I'm still getting over the Madela-effect-ness that he even exists, though. /fin
