1. The problem is the system, not the Republicans. 2. The Democrats want to preserve the system. 3. To the extent the Republicans are a threat beyond the system, the Democrats (Biden) don't take effective action to the GOP bonus threat. Did this explanation help?

This is all true, but it’s still silly to think a Dem win would be in no way better than Trump. If for no reason than we don’t have to live under the constant psychological stress of a blatantly malignant narcissist president. I have no faith in liberals as reliable allies.
