Because it's our cultural ways that are our actual survival tools at this stage of fascism. Even how we always privilege beauty & joy no matter how hard it gets. And our preservation as a community is paramount due to the severity of the particular threats to us now.

i think it was around 2014-2016 i started looking towards my Jewish heritage and Jewish practices and texts, and progressive rabbis, Jews, and Jewish organizations for guidance and support, because if the fash are going to hate me for being Jewish, then i may as well be Really Fucking Jewish
