Sadly, I feel we've become victims of our own complacency. Once every few years, SOME of us show up & vote (others just can't be bothered). Then we assume that our job's done. It's NOT. It's our responsibility to ensure the people we elected are actually doing the jobs we elected them to DO. OUR JOB

You’re right, there are way too many people in this country who don’t seem to give a damn about elections. Election matter and unfortunately they are about to find out how much they matter.

We're in this mess in the first place in no small part because the right actually shows up in the odd-numbered years. Which means Republicans overwhelmingly control state legislatures, who get to decide about things like gerrymandering, which neighborhoods get voting machines, etc.
