Liberals seem consumed by culture wars while conservatives are preparing for the upheaval of climate change, building an administrative fortress, controlling all the levers of power, to protect their wealth. Denying climate change doesn't mean they don't believe it's not happening.

For the richest people on the planet culture wars are a loss leader, a way to attract the masses & provide legitimacy for their coup. The rich have no intention of paying for the damage they're doing to ecosystem or the mass-migrations to come.
