I think The Maxx was the first Image book that really grabbed me story-wise. Savage Dragon I’ve never loved but I read one now and again and admire the hell out of Larsen for just doing what he wants to do.

The Maxx was genuinely good! I spent a lot of time trying to make sense of it. The last few years of Savage Dragon have been buck wild. It was always very T&A oriented but it's turned openly pornographic. And he is having lots of fun with public domain supers.
