I used to be Woodward > Bernstein because of sheer loyalty to Ephron but then I saw him in the documentary his son made about her life and he really fucking loved that woman until the day she died, plus then Woodward’s Republican brain worms have multiplied in the years since, so I switched teams

oh also if you read Woodward’s memoir about his relationship with Felt and how they met when he was really young and starstruck by him and wanted SOOOOOOO BAAAAAD for Felt to think that he was cool and take him seriously, it is surprisingly full of Gay Energy
