I want Korean food. I need to make friends where part of our friendship is exchanging food. Yes come over for dinner I'll make jambalaya and fried chicken and a bunch of other things. And yes I will come over for dinner for whatever cultural staples you're making. We can go out for pasta.

She has three cookbooks. Cooks the way my childhood friends' moms did. (All her books are dedicated to her kids). Korean food is actually one of my comfort cuisines so I make a lot of this stuff.
