That is correct. No discussion on the merits, just this particular challenge was rejected on a technicality. <sarcasm> I'm sure it has nothing to do with the upcoming election and wanting to avoid blowback like Dobbs caused. </sarcasm>

There is no merit. However, that's not necessarily how a yet ro be determined number of the justices (that is likely greater than 2 but smaller than 7) is likely to see it.
