ok, my mom has a diagnosis. it's not as bad as it coulda been in the grand scheme of things. last i heard they were deciding whether to keep her there for observation. not sure when they'll be back (it's 23:40 now)

being vague on purpose, she's generally pretty open about such things but not really my call to make, i guess? the gist is she'll probably be fine in a week or two with some antibiotics
