THIS WHOLE THREAD. And its not just the ageism, but the ableism and the gross contortions some people are going through to rationalize it that I personally find depressing. And, honestly, more than a little scary as someone with ataxic tremors that will NOT go away as I get older.

Yes ageism+abledism+dominant western Patriarchy. Those cultures/ethnicities with a healthier longevity are collectivist, family centred cultures organised around community cooperation & living closely linked to the natural world. White Patriarchy makes us sicker, sadder, excluded.
