I often cuss about the way that Japan's version of World War Two is appallingly close to, "We were minding our own business and then they nuked us for no reason." The American version of its history with Iran is strikingly similar to that, TBH. This does not make Iran's government the good guys.

Our government has behaved badly without any admission in Central and South America most notably perhaps inChile but really all over the place even basically assassinating Che Guevara in Bolivia. Also buy drugs down there and disbursing them in American inner cities is pretty reprehensible.
