Other sites just don’t have enough functionality yet. The amazing thing is that it was obvious from day one that Musk was going to implode, and yet all these other billionaires couldn’t figure out how to be ready for that day.

Our choices are slim, but if Bluesky keeps its promise to federate, it may be the best near-term option for achieving scale and critical mass to be the x-free broadcasting conduit so many brands and media properties crave, while also advancing the best long-term solution: a more robust fediverse.
