They have been brought up in a milieu in which the illegitimacy of anything touched by the Warren or Burger courts is taken for granted. For them, torching a few decades of precedent is just a day at the office.

I was a law student when FedSoc was in its infancy, and this is 100 percent correct. I understood that this was about white guy grievance and power. What I did not appreciate then is that their radical revision would go so much further in than mere reset to “the good old days.”
