This June, I'll be in Charlottesville, VA, training new medics. Most tragically known for the Unite the Right rally where fascists had terrorized the local community proclaiming replacement theory and ended in the murder of activist Heather Heyer and the injury of dozens of others. 2/

On the scene street medics were there before EMS and police, and police forcibly stopped their treatments in order to "keep the scene safe". Since then, the community has been rebuilding but they need help. 3/
