Thanks! I like a lot of the concepts and sequences throughout in the series, just not the series itself. Also, certain elements of that project created conflicts with the primary author, screwing up what had been a lovely friendship until then.

Given her sweet temperament and clean coat, we figure she'd been a house-raised cat who was abandoned recently. I checked Missing Cat lists and didn't see anyone looking for her, so she appears to be ours now. She seems to have some Maine Coon heritage and so might grow to be Hex's size or larger.

I took her to the vet on Monday, and she got a clean bill of health so she has just been introduced to the boys. Aside from Cupid (who is understandably neurotic about other cats, though he eventually gets over it), the meetings went down well.
