The world does not want nuclear war. In 2017, 122 countries voted YES to prohibit nuclear weapons, eventually leading to a total ban. No NATO country voted, apart from the Netherlands which voted NO. No country with nuclear weapons voted.

Three weeks after the Trinity test, the US dropped a nearly identical nuclear bomb on Nagasaki. The bombs dropped on Nagasaki & Hiroshima remain the only use of nuclear weapons as an act of war.

The US used Nevada, on the land of the Western Shoshone & the Marshall Islands as grounds for their toxic tests. These tests forced people to evacuate, have left generations with chronic illness, and their land uninhabitable.
