The challenge I have with both groups is dealing with the tendency to talk everything out before acting - far more than they need to. I really need to work on pacing and upping the urgency level when the story needs it, without badgering them too much!

Ran a bit of Liminal (Prodigal Son Casebook) for my 2nd gaming group last night, and had recently ran it for my main group a few months back. Really interesting seeing the wildly different approaches that they take, with the veterans being more tactical, the newbies more instinctive...

So I've plucked up the courage and bought the new 20222 Traveller edition from Mongoose and have been skimming the PDF copy. Have to say its still a familiar game, with many of the hallmarks of the version I played decades ago. I don't think we ever played it together @tomtremendous.bsky.social ?
