A few years ago, someone I love told me, “God will judge America.” My response was, “Yes, He will. But judgement will begin first in the American Church.” That time is now. This weekend would be a good time for Christians to lament and repent for our own sins.

This is utter madness from Donald Trump. He continues to be Putin’s biggest asset on the world stage. He’s said similar things about China and Taiwan. Any critical thing I’ve ever said about Trump was not nearly severe enough.

My Dad, Charles Simpson had two surgeries this week: aneurysm repair and a feeding tube insertion. Both went well. He’s still dealing with recovery and the after effects of anesthesia. We are hopeful he can return to the physical rehabilitation center within the next couple of days. Please pray.

The biggest threat in our country is not wokeness, DEI, CRT, or Taylor Swift. It is an American Church that has lost its First Love in Jesus Christ. Too many religious folks are being discipled by cable news, talk radio, and extremist podcasts rather than the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
