It helps when to know to turn on the air conditioning versus having the windows open, and also there are some cross reactions with some of the grasses and pollen allergies with foods.

Book 41 📚 for 2024. A sprawling top-down survey of American history. Wilentz is solid, but I would have liked less takedown of other historians' recent works & more analysis, I had questions about inferences he wants his readers to draw. Many questions. Available everywhere, including your library.

Of course not. I think it's more messed up that some other meds that aren't pink or red have it in there. Literally if I get an Rx I ask now and most of the pills are white... but have red dye.

Honestly, you think they’d have those in like large print, red letter fonts, and be able to figure that shit out. The one thing I run into the most as a problematic ingredient is red dye. It is still not unironic that it’s in most Benadryl.

I have found that at least before the pandemic some places were much better at allergy requests than others
 I still remember asking one restaurant what kind of oil they fried in, and they were like “I don’t know we get it off a truck.”

I’m allergic to some things that fall under vegan too
 sigh. I guess it’s too much to expect that they put that on the actual package. My reaction could’ve been worse, since I’m on a lot of allergy meds anyway

Knew I was allergic to crustaceans, have been for ages. Learned today I am also? Allergic to mollusks. Also it would be fucking awesome if products put on the actual packaging that it's not recommended to anyone with any shellfish allergy, not just have it on their website.

I use weeding is a marketing tool. Checkouts per person at my library are roughly twice as high per person than in most of our branches.
