I have an S2a with a focussing issue that has defeated one tech, and it's available as a punt, along with a very good Nikkor O.C. 50mm and a late Nikkor 75mm P.C.... PM me if you want to discuss.

Short answer is yes, especially if the camera has no infinity focus issues. Fixing the problem is anywhere from easy to impossible.

Neither are cheap and they are so uncommon that pricing is a bit of a lottory, I'd budget for £300, but I've seen one closer to £200. I think £300 is about right for a dealer/shop.

A customer sent me their 5x7 #intrepidcamera and Dallmeyer 8" f/2.9 Pentac lens for me to make a threaded custom lens board. Both I and my customer are very pleased with it! That's not real carbon fibre, it's just an effect.

I think the consumer/semi pro 3D printer market is going to converge, and this will make digital sales of functional parts more feasible. Bambu has shaken the market with its excellent products, but with questionable business practices.

I need much more space to give a full answer. IP is an obvious problem, but the larger issue is that functional parts have very little tollerance, and printers vary in their output. Supporting people to get their printers working like my printers (not just accuracy) would be a nightmare.
