Having these ālocalā (Loire Valley) reds this evening. Theyāre light and summery, yet rich and fruity. The TĆ©tine des Gourmets is an easy drinking wine, totally unpretentious and inexpensive. The Reuilly is in a category all its own. All three colors from the AOC are delightful, in case you see one.

One reason I donāt have many scruples about deducting lots of stuff in my tax returns is that I essentially work all the time, everywhere. At the #histgym, for instance, I read #thesis stuff and send emails with my phone. My life is delightfully intertwined with my #research work.

At the #histgym for a pretty quick session this evening. Motivation has been lacking since Friday - lethargy after walking ~10 miles on Saturday, on the heels of a decent, hard gym session on Friday. Does that make sense? Anyway, my body said, āNope.ā

FWIW, supermarket prices here in France are electronic like that and they donāt change on a whim. But, thereās *lots* more price regulation and oversight here than in the US. So, yeah, probably not gonna work out in the consumerās favor. š¬

Usually by June, migraine season has passed and the nice weather helps inspire me to get important work done. Not this year, apparently.
Iām improving the paper I presented last week (which is part of my thesis), but the overcast days are beginning to wear on me.
Oh well. This paperās OK. :)
