There is an intersection between my brain damages and my bipolar that creates a superset of symptoms I wouldn't normally have. Word salad could be schizotypal but it is definitely a brain injury thing I work through daily. So I ground myself in the present, not in the what-if. managing symptoms

BPD plays into this, but largely for me anymore it is all about the betrayal. Its claws are out, it is standing by, waiting to lash out and nuke the offenders. Some of my spouse's biggest betrayers have reached out to me after his death...you've got to be fucking kidding me

One thing that my PTSD counselor (MH therapist) used to impress upon me was that my bipolar was not the biggest influencer in my life, that my brain injuries and my cPTSD actually run and limit the show more So I am mindful to watch my tricksy amygdala/PFC relationship a wee bit of paranoia

My sister made me a bunch of soup when she was here, and that's really all I'm up for. It's prolly a mix of grieving and the hot weather Thinking ahead, I'm prolly going to continue with making soups and i can add sides as i feel it. Then i can freeze them for my truly down days
